TwinStars FC To Field WPSL Team

Women's Premier Soccer League

The +Minnesota TwinStars FC are pleased to announce that the club will field a team in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) beginning in 2014.

The WPSL was formed in 1998 and is considered to be a Tier II league (behind NWSL) in the U.S. soccer pyramid. Sanctioned by the USASA, an affiliate of U.S. Soccer, the league has over 70 teams nationwide. The 2013 WPSL national champions are San Diego WFC SeaLions.

+National Premier Soccer League rivals Madison 56ers SC and +Quad City Eagles FC also field teams in the WPSL. More details will be announced at a later date.
